Day 42: Surrender Is Not Weakness

In our culture, surrendering sounds like failure.

"Don't give up." "Fight to the end." "Never yield."

But spiritual surrender has nothing to do with that.

Surrender is deeply trusting that there is something greater

than your mind that knows exactly what to do.

It is like letting go of the riverbank and trusting the current.

It is not passivity. It is the most courageous action that exists.

Stopping the control of everything you cannot control anyway.

Is there something in your life right now that you have been controlling

that might be time to release to something greater?
